From the past 3 days I think that my behaviour was okay. I would rate myself 9/10. For Room 7, there were some distractions so I would rate them 7/10.

The First Book I read was about The Government (In Australia).  The Booking was talking about the politics and how Austria worked centuries ago. The other book that I read was Spiders In My Stomach. I hope you enjoy reading these books as much as I did:-)

Softball Procedural/Experiance Writing

27.05.14 Procedural Writing ; How to play the Ball Game

Equipment : Ball, 2 people

Method : The game works like this,

You need a partner to play this. You can throw the ball underhand or overhand it doesn't matter. You have to throw continuously, but if you drop the ball you're out. The game gets harder and harder.

My Experience 

My Experience from the Softball Kiwi sport
I actually learnt more about softball from our session. I learnt a strategy on how to throw a ball overhand. I’ve also learnt a new game, called triangle tag. I think Softball was very fun, which is strange I don’t  enjoy sports. I know that we’ll learn  even more next week

Explanation on What Kindness Is

20.05.14 Explanation Writing about What Kindness is:-)

What is Kindness, how  would you define Kindness.

Kindness is a very important  virtue  in life. It’s important to always use this virtue in our daily lives. Kindness is a very, very essential. So what do you think ‘Kindness’ is ???

Firstly personally I think that Kindness can help you develop a positive attitude towards people  . If you have respect for yourself, then you should have  respect for others. Same goes for Love if you are able to love yourself, then you’ll be able to love others.

Secondly kindness offers  significant emotions to people. Being kind can also make somebody's day. In our school Kindness is a very  big and vital virtue that we need to use more. Without Kindness there would be Violence and all sorts of abuse.

Thirdly Kindness sometimes isn't happening throughout the world. That’s why we should start  being kind to others, so that we can show others.

Personally I sometimes not kind, but I know it’s the right thing to do.

Therefore as I send it’s very important to be Kind. It can be difficult at times but as humans we should  know better.  That’s what I think Kindness is, so what do you think it is???

Rhyming Poem

Kindness is a spark that gleams in each of our hearts. A spirit of warmth and care that shares the unique characters of us.  

Kindness is care, compassion, loving and bear.

Also Comfort but sadly it is rare.

Make it constant to show who is there.

Open up, let it glint and treat all those with care.

Don’t be cruel and shady like, but be the one who treats everyone right.

Make the difference of being kind. Seek for the helpless and weak who needs that sunshine.

Kindness can make a change, kindness is a solution of our endless pain.

Kindness is pure and an act of care for who ever is in fear  .

Neglect and pain will all be washed away.

Look forward for the day to participate and pay attention at class and play.  

Treat yourself with care because you are not being fair. Now explore aspect in life and change the way you see things in life.

Last Friday Room 7 had a assembly based on the virtue Kindness.  Hub 1 made a acrostic poem, it was about Kindness. We also made a rhyming poem.                                                                                         
All the other hubs made songs and poems.

K~ K is for knowing, knowing what is right or wrong.

I~ I is for intention doing everything with good intention

N~ N is for nice, the nice things you can do to people.

D~ D is for Dynamic, bringing a Dynamic attitude wherever we go.

N~ N is for Numerous, for the Numerous times we have attempted to change our cruel ways.

E~ E is for effort, having the effort to change our ways and looking after our world.

S~ S is for sense, having a sense of when to act right or wrong.

S~ S is for sensible, being sensible at all times.

My Understanding of Jesus

23.05.14 My Reflection on what I understand about Jesus/God/Holy Spirit/Scripture

Today we were reading Scripture referring to Jesus. Jesus is the Messiah.

Referring to the scripture Jesus said ‘I am  The Way, The Truth and The Life. He died on the cross for our sins. During his life on earth he preached about God, and performed miracles. Jesus wanted us to live a humble and Kind life. In the Scripture it says Jesus is one with the Father, and the Father is one with him.

Therefore Jesus was a very gracious and loving soul, and I know he wanted us to live like him.

Mothers Writing

What is a Mother Figure. Anybody can be like a mother to you, like you Aunty or even you sister. As long as they give you what a Mother Figure supplies.

Firstly  I'm very thankful for her, I wouldn't imaged having a mother like her. My mother has been through alot, for my future. I also wouldn't image a world without my mother.  She encourages me to try my best at school, and in everything I do.

Secondly My Mother  gives me things that I am very thankful for. For example she buys me clothes and pays for my School Fees. Whenever I'm sick she tries her best to comfort me, and helps me  to recover. I can’t be more grateful for my Mother.

Thirdly  she is a great supporter, everything My sisters or I participate in she supports us. I don’t know how but she manages to make time for her Children. I love her for paying my bills and giving me Supplies.

Through all the struggles and difficulties  I would like to thank you mum. For all your sweat or tears you've ever  had because of me I’ll like to thank you. Happy Mothers Day

My Holiday Experiance

05.04.14 My Experience in the Holidays

I experience some  events in the Holidays, for example my family went to the movies. It was also my Cousin’s birthday. The holiday’s weren't that great but I got to spend time with my family.

The First week was very blank.

I really didn’t get to do anything. Except for in the Weekends, We went to Church. For the second week, it was full of Excitement! First of all we went to the Movies, we watched Rio 2 in 3D. I really enjoyed that movie and I think it was a very good story line.

In the Weekend my Parents went to a birthday in Kawakawa.  So my baby siblings went over to Christian’s house, and Alecia and I stayed home with our Grandpa. We had a awesome time, we drove around South Auckland and visited some relatives. I really enjoyed these holidays, but now that they’re over it’s time to look forward for School!
