100 day Party

Yesterday Room 6 had a 100 day party. The purpose of the party was for celebrating the end  term 2. It was really fun because we had lots of activities  that we played and we also had lots of food. I took shortbread cookies to the party. We had groups and in our groups we had to bring anything that represents 100. Ierei took to the party M and NS and Aurora took a poster that said "Keep Calm and Enjoy the 100 Day party. I hope we get to do something like this next term:)

Term 2 Reflection

In Term 2 I enjoyed having visitors come into our classroom because I really enjoyed hearing how they became successful and how they reacted to our questions. I also enjoyed swimming because it was really fun learning how to swim in different ways. Another highlight from this term was learning new maths strategies for multiplication, division and fractions because it was very hard at the start of the year for me, but now I know them all very well.

My lowlights from term 2 was twisting my ankle because I wasn’t allowed to run or walk that much. I didn’t really enjoy soccer because I don’t really like to play sports, only Netball. Another highlight from this term was when we didn’t swim for 2 weeks because I really enjoyed getting wet and having fun with our instructors.

What I am looking forward to for next term for our inquiry because we are going to learn about Asia, I love learning about countries and continents. Another thing that I am looking forward to is doing Music because we are going to work more on our ukuleles.

Weekly Reflection- Week 9:)

My highlights from this week was going swimming on Thursday because at the end we got free time. Another highlight from this week was getting into groups and making up ideas for our 100 day party because it was fun talking about what was going to happen next week.

My lowlights from this week was doing our Healthy Foods presentation because I don’t know anything about the different food categories. Another lowlights from this week was our teacher having to go to another class because of the behavior that was in our class.

What I am looking forward to for Week 10 is planning our egg challenge because I like creating new things and trying out new things.
