Pigeon Impossilble

Plot:    This movie was about a secret agent whose name is Walter Beckett.  His mission was that there was a bomb and he had to take this bomb to his boss but the thing was  that the bomb was disguised as a suitcase. He was walking to a bus stop. When he sat  down a pigeon appear. The pigeon wanted Walters donut  so Walter gave him a little donut the pigeon wanted the whole donut so the pigeon jumped on Walter to get the donut so when the pigeon fell down in the suitcase. The pigeon made a lot of trouble he was pushing all of the  buttons. Until Walter threw the donut up into the air and it landed on the buttons that connects to the rocket. The rocket was heading for Russia and it was going to blow up. Then walter had to stop the rocket. But wherever he goes the pigeon follows him. So walter opened up the suitcase and the donut went flying down to land.  Finally walter  shooted the rocket with a missile and it blew up. When that was done he landed back on land.

Problem: There was 2 problems in this story the first one was that the pigeon wanted Walter’s donut and the second one was that the rocket blew up and it was heading for Russia.

Solution: Walter solved this by giving the pigeon what he wanted and he shot the rocket
with a missile.

Your opinion of the story: My opinion was that this movie  was very creative and unique because the suitcase had all sorts of agent stuff like an computer, buttons and its unique style.

Imagination Story

“Sonya come here” shouted my mum. “Get ready for church but first go to the back and get some apples for your lunch tomorrow”.“Ok mum, I’m coming” I said walking outside. Before I even started picking I fell asleep. I was dreaming a strange dream and it was about a Feather Land.

It all started when I was picking apples for my mum, I fell into the hole and as I was falling it grew darker and darker and darker. Until BOOM I finally landed. When I looked around it was very, very strange. It had feather trees, strange little creatures hunting around for who approaches the King. I was in feather land.

A little mouse suddenly came up to me, he had two eyes, four feet, six arms and three ears. He gave me a present, it was made out of feathers shaped like diamonds and it had lollies in it. “What is this for?” I asked and “who are you?”. “Sorry for not introducing myself, Hi my name is Sam and I am the King’s servant. He told me to give this to you. Hide it and never give it away, if you break this the world will end our world”. “Ok” I replied nervously, I was scared that I would forget his words.

Before I could ask how to get home, the ground was shaking

“what is happening?” I thought and suddenly I was back home in the garden. I took the present to my room for safe keeping. Sadly one of my little brothers or sisters came in and accidentally broke my gift. I screamed “WHAT DO I DO NOW? it is BROKEN what do I do NOW.” I amazingly heard Sam’s voice “Calm down, what you can do is RUN FOR YOUR LIFE or you can go on an airplane as fast as you can and go to another country, now go before it’s too late and don’t forget to take your family”.

Off we went in a massive rush my Dad drove as fast as he could to get to the airport. When we got to the airport there were already people there. “Fish fingers” I said angrily as we

were pushed and shoved. “Guys look there is a empty airplane right over there” said Dad. Dad was an airplane captain and so he knew all about airplanes. “HURRY UP guys if we want to survive, our only option is die or go on a airplane and survive, so which one die or survive?” I said rushingly. Everyone went with survive and so off we went into the airplane. Unfortunately the plane needed gas but there was no gas stations around. Luckily there was a gas tank nearby. “Wait here guys I will be right back” said Dad. Finally my dad came back. “As soon as he is finished with the gas we can go” said Mum. On the radio they were counting down when America was going to end, they started from “20, 19, 18”. “Hurry up Dad or else we will be destroyed. “5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0” said the radio. BOOM it was shaking like a cow moving side to side, I Thanked God that we had lifted off in time.

We went to our new home town in Auckland, New Zealand Glen Innes. I went to St Pius X School. I opened my eyes to see if it was true that we were safe and it was.

Schools in the past, present and the future

I create this presentation so people will know what it was  like in the olden days, and schools now. We know about schools in the past because of our trip Howick Historical Village. I like it when we were working on the past slides because we are talking about something that was long ago.

Glitter art

This is a piece of art that room three did last week.
It is kowhaiwhai patterns. The person who inspired us was Reuben Paterson, he is famous for his art, he uses glitter and paint just like we did. What I enjoyed best was pastling
because in the end our art was nice and tidy. The bit that I found difficult to do was painting because when I started I made a big mess.

Orienteering Week 1

On a sunny morning on Wednesday Room three were working as usual and Mrs Tui came in, she said “good morning”. We said “Good morning”. We were going to do Orienteering. Our coaches were Mr McGivern and Irene.

First of all Mr McGivern told us about Orienteering. Our first go at orienteering was in our classroom. Next Mr McGivern drew a map, he picked 12 people, those people were given a piece of paper. The pieces of paper were called controls. They had to hide their paper anywhere around the classroom. I was one of those people..

After that Mr McGivern gave us all a paper each. The game went like this we had to find the controls. Each had a number on it. The people with the pieces of paper had to go up to Mr McGivern, and those people had to tell him where they put it and he would put it down on the map. Next we went off to look for the pieces of paper. After we had finished we had to go to the mat and figure it out the sentence. The sentence was “have a nice day”.

After that Irene told us what to do next. Guess what? we were going to play a game outside on the field. It went like this, we had to get into our math groups, but there were too many in circles so Mr McGivern put 2 groups together. Circles and Pentagons were one group and Squares and Triangles another. Irene took us out into the field, we saw two circles made of control makers. First of she gave us a piece of paper and it had all types of letters, it was exactly the same as the controls. She gave us a piece of paper again and we had to go to the control that was the same as the paper and punch it. After that Irene said “remember to run in one direction and don’t cut lines, get ready, set, GO”. Off we went, whatever letter that Irene gave us we had to carry on from that letter. I was very tired and exhausted from all the running that we did.

Finally we had finished and so we went back to class. It was my best day EVER!!!!

Tom and the Dragon

One day Tom went for a walk down to the park with his mum. He asked his mum “can I go down to the pier mama?”. His mum replied “ok , but I have to tell you that near the pier there lives a dragon like no other, so never go, ever no, never go near.” Tom listened to his mum but he decided to go anyway.

When he got there he saw the dragon, his mum said to him earlier on “ never say never nay, never say anything.” Later on the dragon started to talk. “ What do I do?” Tom asked in his head. Next he remembered  that his mum said “remember Tom the dragon will bite you up, never ever eat with him”. Tom kept these things in mind. The dragon asked Tom for a game of chess with him. Tom remembered his mum’s words “never play with the dragon.”

A few days later they became very good friends. Tom and the dragon’s mums meet Tom and the dragon along the beach. When  their mums meet they both greeted with a nervous smile and with a hello. From that day on Tom and the dragon were never ever foes.
